Salford BAME

Together, we will:

• Encourage BAME community to join and participate as Labour party members promoting and supporting the Labour Party's principles and policies.

• Inspire and contribute in the policy making process, ensure that the issues and concerns of BAME Salford Labour members are raised at local and national levels within the Labour Party.

• Advocate against racism and discrimination in all forms and support members in their struggle against racism in the community.

• Organise events, conferences and policy discussions

• Promote capacity building and act as a gateway to Labour Party networks

BAME stands for Black, Asian & minority Ethnic.

BAME Salford is a diverse group of Labour Party activists who campaign for equality and proper representation in our communities.

We encourage participation of BAME members in the political process in the Labour Party and the City of Salford.

We are a democratically constituted membership organisation which is affiliated to the Salford Labour Party. BAME Salford Labour works very closely with other BAME forum and organisations within the North West and shares the values and ethics of Labour Party.
